Factory reconditioned tools are individually inspected, tested, and restored to meet new tool standards. Every reconditioned tool is closely examined to ensure it performs at the manufacturer's superior tool standard. A recon is a tool that has been returned to the factory for minor cosmetic or technical defects, and is then rigorously inspected and restored to meet all factory specifications. Because the tools have been returned to the factory, the tools can nol longer be sold as "new," and are concequently much less expensive. Reconditioned tools are cost effective, quality inspected, and come with the same warranty as a brand new tool.
