The MK-100 boasts a 1-1/2 horsepower motor that is internally cooled with a built-in fan. This cooling helps keep the motor protected during periods of extended use ensuring you achieve the beat results no matter what. The saw is built with permanently lubricated, dual-sealed, heavy duty blade shaft bearings; this is good for several reasons: one being, the bearings are permanently lubed, the saw always runs smooth and you never have to crack into it to monitor bearing lubrication, and two being, the dual-sealed bearing is ultra resistant to corrosion keeping your saw sailing smooth for longer. The saw has a linear-bearing and chrome plated guide-bar assembly for the most precise cutting, and with a variable height cutting head, the tool can plunge cut as well as use blades smaller that 10" in diameter. Another scale tilting feature of the MK-100 is its one-piece reinforced zinc-plated steel frame. This structure provides both superior strength and corrosion resistance.
