Founded in 1867 the Fein company has revolutionized the tool and technology industries for over 140 years. In fact, it was Fein who in 1895 indroduced the first ever electric power tool - an electric hand drill that, for all intensive purposes, changed the course of our history. Quickly following this innovation, Fein also developed the first high-performance electric tool, and the first electric screw driver. Later, in 1967 and in the spirit of said power tool evolution, Fein introduced the MultiMaster, one of the most important power tool releases of all time, and the first tool to ever utilize Fein's patented, and coveted oscilliation technology, which, until recently, was completely unique to the Fein company. Still, despite aggressive competition, Fein remains the foremost leader in multi-tool technology and an innovator in the woodworking community.
