This summer M&M Tool and Machinery plans to recreate the success of last year’s golf scramble with sponsorship from major power tool manufacturers like DeWalt and Makita.

Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) May 20, 2009 — Last summer M&M Tool and Machinery teamed with DeWalt Power Tool to organize M&M Tool’s first annual golf scramble. Eighteen holes were played at Park City, Utah’s Mountain Dell Golf Resort where seventy-two customers were invited to play with “The Guys” of M&M Tool and several representatives from DeWalt. That August morning, courtesy of M&M Tool and DeWalt, golfers were met with fresh fruit and sweets, a gift package of commemorative apparel and golf supplies, and a raffle ticket. After the scramble and a catered lunch, raffle tickets were drawn for high-ticket DeWalt items from radios and tool bags, to sanders and a sliding miter saw. In addition to many more power tools and prizes, golfers won Porter-Cable 342 sanders, Porter-Cable 690LR routers, DeWalt DWD112 drills, DeWalt DW818 and DeWalt D28402K angle grinders, Porter-Cable 371K belt sanders, a and DeWalt DW718 sliding miter saw with stand.

This summer M&M Tool and Machinery plans to create an event even more successful than the last with the partnership of more manufacturers. “DeWalt, Makita, and possibly Bosch Tools” says Steve, owner of M&M Tool, “are coming together to co-sponsor the event” where, after a morning of golf, the highest quality power tools and accessories will be raffled to a select group of M&M Tool’s customers. “This year we plan to have the scramble a bit later in the summer,” says Steve, “that way we can have [the scramble] immediately precede our annual tool show in September.”

“The Guys” (and girls too) of M&M Tool anticipate the event with excitement and expect the scramble to be an impressive day of golf, cuisine, good company, and especially good power tools. The official date of the golf scramble has yet to be announced but M&M Tool and Machinery’s plans for a memorable event are well underway.
